I'm retiring the Tressie Davis Photography blog. It will remain out here in cyber-land as long as google sees fit for a dormant blog, but I will no longer be updating.
Be sure to catch me at my new creative venture Project Faces and Places (yay!).
For clients, session sneak peeks will continue to go on Facebook (like my page! TDP on Facebook).
If Twitter is your thing, join me there VSPRINK.

Treasure Every Day
I am thankful every day for each of my children, and I could not imagine my life without them.
Chris and Lindsey are Married!
Chris and Lindsey. I don't even know where to start with this one. I have photographed you as you grew up, and watched your high school sweetheart relationship against all odds grow stronger through college. You are definitely a couple special to my heart, and I am so honored that you chose me to be your wedding photographer.
Love you both. xo

You were meant to be together. That was made obvious by the identical wedding gifts you gave to each other on your wedding day! The look on your faces as you each received an ipad with a special message from the other was priceless. See, your families can keep a secret. :)
Your wedding was beyond beautiful, and all through the day I watched your family and friends share in your joy. You two are truly blessed to be surrounded by so much love and support.
My words can not do your day justice - instead I will post your wedding video, as it tells the story so much better than I ever could.
Love you both. xo

Sean, your senior session was sooo much fun! And informative too...I now know what a longboard is :) It was truly a joy to work with you, your smile and enthusiasm are completely contagious.
All the best to you Sean, in your senior year, your graduation and your life - your ability to make people feel happy will take you far.

Hannah
Oh Hannah....I so looked forward to doing your senior pictures and I was not disappointed!! Not only are you a beautiful, engaging young woman, but our session was an adventure, right?
You are a shining star dear Hannah....here is your video:
And a few of my favorite images.
I can honestly say that I have never seen two praying mantises in such a compromising position before - on a senior session or anywhere else.

And what about the MONSTER one that we saw on the way to the field? I will see that thing in my nightmares for years to come. I can't believe you were poking it with a stick! A big thank you to your uncle for letting us use his farm for your shoot - this was a perfect location for you. Casual, carefree and fun.
And sassy. Lets not forget sassy. Yes, those boots are PERFECT with that dress. :) Maybe it was hard striking a pose in front of your mom and uncle, but girl, you were workin' it.
Not only was the wildlife activity a first for me, but this was the first time I've shot a senior in a soybean field. Love it!
Thank you for choosing me as your photographer, I have so enjoyed getting to know you and wish you all the best in your senior year and beyond.
